Communications
Team Merkley knows that OPCCA’s ability to communicate with its members is essential to keeping them engaged with our campus clubs.
Firstly, to kick-start the year we will hold a face-to-face Presidents Council meeting in August for club development training and passing around ideas for the coming school year.
In order to further our ability to communicate with members we will increase or Facebook membership by 200 new members through Facebook advertisements and also by encouraging members of our university clubs to join our Facebook group.
Team Merkley also believes that the monthly Blue Wave newsletter should be re-activated and sent out bi-monthly. We will also strive to keep our website fully up to date. It is important our activists are fully informed about the activities of our executive and other campus clubs.
We will assign regional organizer roles to executive members as the main point of contact between the executive and our club presidents. These regional organizers will monitor club progress and inform the executive of their activities through bi-term reports
