Training
A properly trained membership is essential to maximize our efforts in coming elections and developing a strong activist base.
Team Merkley will reestablish the OPCCA-OPCYA Training committee, which will aim to host a third elections skills training weekend in September 2012. Our activists can make a significant contribution to the upcoming campaign effort – they should be trained to assume top campaign roles in local ridings in field organization and communications.
We will also engage in an online training effort with a series of short 1-2 hour training sessions on club development and recruitment throughout the year. Training should be more than a once a year occurrence.
